The European Federation of Magazine Publishers (FAEP) is a non-profit trade association representing the interests of the national organisations of periodical press publishers and corporate publishing members in Europe. Their mission is "to promote and protect the interests of publishers of the periodical press within the European Union thus ensuring the long-term survival and prosperity of a plural, diverse and economically successful magazine publishing industry in the EU" [1]. The FAEP represents over 15,000 European publishers and over 50,000 magazine titles they claim to reach over 80% of European citizens. The European magazine business is estimated to generate over €40 billion annually [2].
