Esther McVey is a Conservative MP.

In September 2012, she was appointed as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Work and Pensions.[1] She was promoted to Work and Pensions Minister in October 2013.[2] In July 2014, it was announced she would attend Cabinet in her existing role.[3]
