Emily Tofield is director of communications at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. [1] Tofield joined the role in September 2014 after leaving her previous role of cross-government head of relations.

Background

Tofield previously held a number of other communications roles including deputy director, head of communications and ministerial press secretary for the Cabinet Office, senior producer of The Andrew Marr Show as well as senior producer of BBC News Channel. [2]
