Emily Bourne is the head of the UK Office of Unconventional Gas and Oil at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

She is the former head of the electricity market reform (EMR) programme team at DECC. There she was responsible for managing and cross-programme coordination and stakeholder engagement. Before this she led DECC’s Future Electricity Networks team, leading on onshore and offshore grid policy.

Orevious roles include work on the UK Renewable Energy Strategy in DECC, and private secretary for the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. - [1]
