In June 2014 she co-founded with her father the Alliance for a Stronger America, a hawkish 501(c)4 organization.

She previously co-founded Keep America Safe, a now-defunct neoconservative advocacy group.

She was a key opponent of the Ground Zero Mosque development in New York.
