Edward Neville Isdell

Edward Neville Isdell (8 June 1943) is an Irish businessman, most notably the former CEO of the Coca-Cola Company.

Career

Whilst living in Zambia, Isdell joined a local bottling company at the Coca-Cola Company in 1966, by 1972 he was general manager of Coca-Cola Bottling of Johannesburg. He was named region manager for Australia in 1980 and in 1981 was president of the joint venture between the Coca-Cola Company and San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines.[1] Isdell was Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Beverages plc from 1998 to September 2000, CEO of Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company from 2000 to May 2001, international consultant to Coca-Cola, CEO of Coca-Cola Company from 2004 to 2008 and Chairmen from 2004 to 2009.[2]

Currently, Isdell is chairman of the World Wildlife Fund and co-chairman and chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Investment Climate Facility for Africa.[2]

He was also director of Hakluyt's international advisory board The Holdingham Group Advisory Board from 1 Sep 2010 to 22 Apr 2013.
