The Early of Oxford and Asquith or Raymond Asquith, serves as a hereditary British peer in the House of Lords for the Liberal Democrats.

He is also a former British diplomat, a career which saw him hold posts in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cabinet Office. He succeeded to the peerage after the passing of his father, Julian Asquith, 2nd Earl of Oxford and Asquith on 16 January 2011.[1]
