The David and Ruth Lewis Family Charitable Trust (no. 259892 formerly known as the Lewis Family Charitable Trust and not to be confused with another charity called the Lewis Family Charitable Trust (no 262872)) is a UK based grant making trust. The trust is a Zionist oriented foundation based in the UK associated with the owners of River Island.

Notes on disclosures

  • In 2018 the Trust did not disclose the recipients of funding. It gave instead a total for all funding in that year.
  • In 2019 the Trust disclosed 'general charitable funding' in 'grants of less than £75,000' of £284,789. In 2020 it 'restated' its 2019 giving as including £235,000 of 'grants of less than £75,000'. In addition it stated that it had given a grant of £149,367 to the Campaign Against Antisemitism, giving a total for general funding of £389,952 as contrasted with the figure of £289,635 which was disclosed in 2019.
