Dan Rogerson Liberal Democrat MP for North Cornwall

Dan Rogerson has been the Liberal Democrats MP for North Cornwall since 2005.

He was appointed shadow parliamentary under-secretary in the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs in 2005.[1] His portfolio covered water, forestry, rural affairs and resource management.

In January 2015 he was appointed to the Liberal Democrat General Election Cabinet as the party's spokesperson on environment, food and rural affairs. [2]

In the May 2015 election, Rogerson lost his MP seat for North Conrwall to Conservative Party candidate Scott Mann. [3]

Background

Rogerson graduated from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with a degree in politics and went onto work in local government. [4]
