Dan Lodge is a lifetime supporter of the Labour Party, joining as an 18 year old, in 1992. Lodge worked as a former special adviser to Peter Hain in the Welsh Office, from 2009 to 2010.

Lodge is now convenor of the Welsh Fabians, a sub group of the Fabian Society. Within this role Lodge organises events such as the Fabians Cymru Fringe at the Welsh Labour conference, in North Wales. [1] The Fabian Society is Britain’s oldest political think tank, and is at the forefront of developing political ideas and public policy on the left. [2]
