Charles Lyell, Lord Lyell, is a Conservative member of the House of Lords.[1]

Northern Ireland

Lyell served as an Under-Secretary of State in the Northern Ireland Office from 12 April 1984 to 25 July 1989.[2]

Interests

Despite being an LLP member of Lloyd's, when asked about his interests by the Wall Street JournalLyell said, “I’m not aware that I have major interests in a financial company".[3]
