Byron Davies is the Conservative Party MP for Gower. He gained a majority of just 27 votes in the May 2015 general election to make him Gower's first non-Labour MP since 1906. [1]

Previous to this role, Davies was South Wales West regional assembly member in the National Assembly for Wales, but following his success in the election, he has decided to step down as assembly member so that he can fulfil his parliamentary duties. [2]
