The Boston College Oral History Project is an archive housed in the Burns Library of Boston College in the United States, containing transcripts of interviews with members of the Irish Republican Army and the Ulster Volunteer Force.[1]

Initially known as the "Belfast Project", the archive was first suggested by Lord Paul Bew, a former Visiting Scholar at Boston College, in the wake of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement.[2]

Interviews took place between 2001 and approximately 2006.[3]

Robert K. O'Neill and Thomas E. Hachey received subpoenas commanding production on 26 May 2011 of:

1. The original tape recordings of any and all interviews of Brendan Hughes and Dolours Price.
2. Any and all written documents, including but not limited to any and all transcripts, relating to any and all tape recordings of any and all interviews of Brendan Hughes and Dolours Price.
3. Any and all written notes created in connection with any and all interviews of Brendan Hughes and Dolours Price.[4]

Boston College produced the material related to Brendan Hughes on 26 May 2011. The deadline for the other material was extended by agreement with the United States Attorney's office to 2 June 2011.[5]
