Belize is a small nation on the Caribbean coast of Central America. It is a known 'tax haven'.

Activities

Belize is home to a developing offshore financial industry, including eight offshore banks, one offshore insurance company, 23 trust companies, and 38,471 registered offshore corporations. In 2006 the country's officials reported an increase in financial crimes, including bank fraud, forgery, and counterfeiting. [1]
