Beatrice Stern joined the government in 2003 as Hilary Benn’s special adviser at the Department for International Development before moving with him to Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. She was previously media officer at the Institute for Public Policy Research, where she co-authored reports on the justice system and e-government. [1]
