Aubrey Hersh is a trustee of the Friends of Lev Aryeh Yeshiva, a British charity. According to data lodged at the UK Charity Commission the charity operates in the UK and in Israel.[1] However, the Lev Aryeh Yeshiva is in fact based in Neve Yaakov, an illegal Israeli settlement in occupied East Jerusalem.[2] [3]

Hersh is a senior lecturer at the Jewish Learning Exchange. He has been involved in Holocaust education and has lectured around the world.[4] Born in London Hersh studied at yeshivas in Gateshead and Jerusalem.[5] Since 2003 he has led more than 100 history tours throughout Europe in collaboration with the Imperial War Museum.[6]
