Astrid Coeurderoy is an observer to the CSA and formerly a programme executive with the European Foundation for Democracy, a position she held from October 2007 until she left in February 2009.[1] Her role at EFD was the Development of EFD activities in France, the 'Management of two EFD Senior Fellows (tours in Europe)' and 'Writings'.[2]

She has obtained a Masters degree in history from the Université Paris Sorbonne among other academic degrees. Previous to working for the EFD she worked in the French Embassy in Austria and with the Council of Ministers at the European Union [3]
