Andrew Percy has been the Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Brigg and Goole since May 2010. [1] In the 2015 general election Percy retained his seat with a majority of 11,176. [2]
Fracking is 'industrialisation of our countryside'
In July 2019 in the House of Commons Percy called upon government ministers to consider withdrawing their permitted development rights proposals that will transfer part of the fracking regime to the national infrastructure regime and instead give 'greater powers to communities to decide with they want fracking in their areas'.
Fracking, Percy argued, should be 'treated in the same way' in the planning system as 'any other industrial development in open countryside' would be.

Israel advocacy
In October 2015, Percy signed a letter in The Guardian along with more than 150 people drawn from the arts and politics. The letter launched Culture for Coexistence, an organisation that opposes the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement.[4]
