Andrew Mackay was the Member of Parliament for Berkshire East and then Bracknell from 1983 to 2010.[1]

Mackay stepped down at the 2010 election, after he and his wife Julie Kirkbride were deemed to have claimed second home allowances inappropriately.[2]
