Ambassador News Service was an alleged propaganda operation said to be affiliated with Brian Crozier and Peter Janke, both of the intelligence affiliated Institute for the Study of Conflict. The operation was alluded to by Paddy Prendeville, a press officer with the Troops Out Movement in a letter to The Guardian in July 1976 following the exposure of Forum World Features as a CIA front. Prendeville stated in the letter: ‘Perhaps when Messrs Crozier and Janke next write to the Guardian concerning alleged malpractice by journalists, either or both might care to explain what relationship, if any, exists between them and a body called ‘Ambassador News Service’.
