Sir Alistair Horne is a British historian and biographer. In 2013, he confirmed to the BBC that he had run three agents for MI6 while working for the Daily Telegraph in Germany in the 1950s, and that the paper's editor, Roy Pawley, had been aware of his role.[1][2]
