Alfredo Mantovano is a member of the Italian Senate. He was Undersecretary at the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the Berlusconi Government (2002-2006).[1]

On June 8 2007, he attended a Rome conference on Italian-American relations organised by the American Enterprise Institute and the Magna Carta Foundation.[2]

In 2008 he won the Oriana Fallaci Prize, alongside anti-Islam Dutch MP Geert Wilders, Felip Dewinters and Robert Spencer. The prize is awarded by the Una Via per Oriana Fallaci set up in honour of the Italian journalist of that name.
