Paterson is an account executive at Curtin & Co, national chairman of Conservative Future, co-ordinator for the Conservative Party's Team 2015 project and an organiser of the Road Trip 2015 campaign activities leading up to the general election.[1]

Paterson has also worked as an events co-ordinator at the think-tank Parliament Street.[2]
