The National Jewish Democratic Council works as a liaison group between America's Jewish community and the Democratic Party.

This is how the Philadelphia Jewish Voice describes the National Jewish Democratic Council:

Founded in 1990, the National Jewish Democratic Council is the national voice of Jewish Democrats. Informed by our commitment to those values shared by the Democratic Party and the vast majority of American Jews - including the separation of church and state, a strong US-Israel relationship, and reproductive freedom.[1]

Activities

NJDC channels PAC funds to candidates of its choice -- primary criteria: "In addition to being strong supporters of our core issues (a woman's right to choose, a strong U.S.-Israel relationship, and the separation of church and state)".[2]
