Aviva plc is a British insurance group with 54,758 employees. On Fortune Global 500, they ranked 35 in 2005, 28 in 2006, 50 in 2007, 69 in 2008 and 221 in 2009.[1]

People

  • U.K. Life Peer, Colin Sharman, Lord Sharman of Redlynch, has been Chairman of Aviva PLC since January 2006 and a board member since January 2005.[2]
  • Andrew Moss, CEO
  • Sarah Cox, a Director at the Cabinet Office since 2007 was a Business Development Manager at Aviva CGNU Group from 2000 to 2001.[3]
  • Mary Francis, an independent non-executive director of Aviva PLC, is a former non-executive director of the Bank of England from 2001 to 2007.[4][5]
  • Sam White, group public policy director from November 2010 (announced 9 September 2010). He is a former special adviser to Alistair Darling at the Treasury, and also held special adviser roles at the Departments of Trade and Industry and Transport.[6]
