Pierre Cassen is a French counterjihad activist who founded Riposte Laïque in 2007[1] and as of February 2015 was its leader.

He reportedly previously helped to organise Bloc Identitaire conference International Congress on the Islamisation of Europe in Paris on 18 December 2010.[1]

Cassen co-authored with Christine Tasin an anti-'Islamisation' book Assises Internationales sur L’Islamisation de nos Pays in 2011.[1] His organisation works closely with hers (Résistance Républicaine) and the two called for a joint demo for 18 January 2015, inspired by the PEGIDA rallies in Germany.[2]
