Arrest in Spain

Exiled Equatorial Guinean politician Severo Moto has been arrested on charges of arms trafficking, Spanish judicial sources said on Tuesday.
Moto, who is also wanted in Spain's oil-rich former African colony on suspicion of involvement in an attempted coup in 2004, leads a self-styled government-in-exile in Spain, where he was granted asylum in 1986.
His arrest on Monday night in Toledo, near Madrid, came after police found weapons stashed in a car boot on March 6 in the southeastern port of Sagunto.[1]
