Phil Nolan has "18 years experience of working in the custodial environment". He used to work for G4S at HMP Altcourse until he joined Mitie Care and Custody as a bid writer in 2011.[1]

TGWU

Nolan worked in finance administration at the TGWU from 1985 to 1992.

G4S - HMP Altcourse

From December 1997 to May 2010 Nolan worked at HMP Altcourse in a variety of roles, rising to deputy director in 2006.

  • Nolan was Head of Resettlement at HMP Altcourse from October 2003 to September 2005. His role included "developing links with community agencies in order to provide ongoing support for prisoners upon release. This involved writing contracts and monitoring service delivery, as well as forging positive relationships with the professionals representing those agencies."
  • Nolan was Deputy Director for G4S at HMP Altcourse from 2006 to May 2010. He prepared "operational solutions in order to meet Authority requests for Contract amendments" and was "involved in the development and preparation of bids for new business." He was also a "company trainer for the G4S management development scheme".

Mitie Care and Custody

In September 2011 Nolan became a bid writer at [[Mitie Care and Custody]]. He has a particular interest in the drugs rehabilitation field.
