Micael Gulbenkian

Micael Gulbenkian is the former chairman and chief executive of Heritage Oil.

Mr. Gulbenkian joined the board in 2001 and was appointed CEO in 2003. He previoulsy headed the oil and gas interests of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation for more than two decades and has held various leadership positions within the Partex Group owned by the Foundation. His main responsibilities were developing its extensive international oil and gas interests in conjunction with its major multi-national partners, particularly in the Middle East.
