Liz Cameron (Scottish business operative)

Liz Cameron is Director of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and the former Chief Executive of Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce (RCC) for more than ten years. [1] As a director and chief executive of Renfrewshire drove the organisation forward so that it employs more than 30 people, has a membership of 600 and records a turnover of £2.5m a year. [2]

Liz has a MSc in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Personnel and Training Management from the University of Strathclyde plus a Scottish Enterprise Premier Business Advisory Diploma.

These qualifications jump started her career with a personnel post at J&W Kerr Electronics Ltd in Greenock followed by moves to Playtex Ltd just up the road in Port Glasgow, Inverclyde Enterprise Trust Ltd, the Scottish Council for Development and Industry and Renfrewshire Local Employer Network and then Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.
