Laura Sainsbury is a senior consultant in public affairs at lobbyists FTI Consulting.

Career

Early in her career, Sainsbury completed internships with accountancy firm Ernst & Young in 2008 and lobbyists Grayling in 2009.

She has worked as a ministerial portfolio officer in five months from November 2009.

After a brief internship, Sainsbury was appointed duty editor at Politics Home in October 2010.

In January 2011 she was appointed as a senior account manager at Bellenden, and was seconded to Visa Europe for 6 months in May 2012. At Bellenden she worked on 'global financial corporates and across the housing, education and energy sectors'.[1]

In May 2014 she was appointed vice-chair of the Young Consultants' Committee at the Association of Professional Political Consultants.

She is currently a senior consultant in public affairs at FTI Consulting.[2]
