"John Black" or "JB" is the pseudonym of a former loyalist paramilitary who claims to have worked with the British security forces in Northern Ireland.
His claims are regarded with scepticism by several Irish human rights organisations.
Black is currently working on a book about his allegations. In a draft of the acknowledgements, he thanks former FRU agent Martin Ingram "for pointing me in the right direction in the first place.'
