health4schools is a community project funded by Kraft Cares ('the community partnership programme for Kraft Foods'[1]). According to Kraft, it is an initiative to "promote healthy diet and active play to school children and communities in Gloucestershire"[2] and was launched in September 2004.


People

The project is directed by a Steering Committee[3] made up of the following people[4]:

Jo Eades: Business in the Community, Member Service Manager

Johanna Le Poidevin: Business in the Community, Bristol Cares & Regional Operations Manager

Angela James: Gloucestershire County Council, Gloucestershire Physical Activity Consultant

Kirsty Pritchard: Gloucestershire County Council, Gloucestershire Healthy School Co-ordinator

Jan Urban-Smith: Gloucestershire LEA advisor for PHSE & Citizenship Governor Services

Becky Woollett: Primary PSHE and Citizenship Consultant

Sue Wild: Senior Health Promotion Specialist, Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Primary Care Trust

Sonia Percival: Learning through Landscapes, Head of National Programmes

Nicki Rees: Business in the Community, health 4 schools co-ordinator

Jonathan Horrell: Kraft Foods, Corporate & Government Affairs Manager (health 4 schools programme director)

Julia Westcott: Kraft Foods, External Relations Manager
