Antonia Williams has been deputy director of policy unit for the UK Prime Minister David Cameron since 2012.

Background

The most senior civil servant in the team, Williams joined the Government as a policy adviser in the Cabinet Office under former Labour prime minister Tony Blair. [1]

Williams worked as an associate director at Ernst and Young in Sydney, Australia, she was also a manager for economics and policy at PwC. Prior to this she worked as head of employment policy, pensions reform as well as private secretary to the secretary of state for work and pensions. Williams was also the policy adviser to the UK Cabinet Office [2]
