Andrew Lloyd-Webber

Andrew Lloyd-Webber also known as Lord Lloyd-Webber of Sydmonton in the County of Hampshire. Lloyd-Webber was made a life peer in the House of Lords in February 1997. He sits as a Conservative member in the Lords. [1]

Background

Lloyd-Webber is a composer and dedicated musical theatre writer. Several of his musicals have run for more than a decade both in the West End and on Broadway. His company, the Really Useful Group, is one of the largest theatre operators in London

He was knighted by the Queen in 1992.
